All levels of the value chain are represented in NRW, characterized by a strong independent structure. However, the displacement of clubs and affordable rehearsal spaces, a lack of infrastructure, including in the area of promotion, and a lack of a spirit of optimism are limiting the development potential. NRW needs to make greater use of and promote its potential and relevance as the second-largest music industry location in Germany and the country&#8217;s most densely populated club scene.
