On Saturday, April 20, 2024, the PopBoard NRW in cooperation with the Institute for Pop Music at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Bochum will be hosting a music workshop on the topic of “AI Music Playground – Music Creation with the Help of Artificial Intelligence”.

The speaker Jovanka von Wilsdorf is the initiator of the DIANA AI Song Contest and the Female* Producer Prize and gives masterclasses and talks on the topics of “AI in Music Composition” and “Artist Development” on international stages. She is a songwriter at BMG Rights Management with her own publishing house and works as an artist coach and creative consultant for various music companies, start-ups and for Musicboard Berlin.

As part of the “AI Music Playground”, Jovanka von Wilsdorf invites interested creatives and musicians to try out various AI music tools and create music with them. From simple “beat generators” to professional composition assistants, AI toys & tools are presented that can inspire creativity and expand the existing approach to music creation. The tools presented can be tried out in the workshop and applied to your own music.

Open minds & High sprits are welcome! Previous knowledge of AI is not required!

You need to bring your own laptop and headphones – and in any case your own excellent taste in music. The workshop is explicitly aimed at students of the Folkwang University of the Arts as well as external interested parties.
