There’s no business like pop business! The session on the status of NRW as a music industry location will take place on April 25 at the c/o pop Convention 2024 in Cologne at HERBRAND’s Ehrenfeld.

The PopBoard NRW is working on a comprehensive survey of North Rhine-Westphalia as a pop music location – on a cultural, social and economic level. The aim is to present the strengths and weaknesses of the pop music landscape in NRW and to develop measures to strengthen NRW as a pop music location.

Part of the study is a survey on the status of NRW as a music industry location, which Goldmedia conducted on behalf of PopBoard NRW at the beginning of 2024.

The results of this study will be presented and discussed for the first time at the c/o pop Convention 2024. Dorette Gonschorek (Managing Director, PopBoard NRW), Frank Kühl (CFO, AnnenMayKantereit GmbH), Gesine Schönrock (Head of Digital Distribution, Kompakt) and Prof. Dr. Klaus Goldhammer (Managing Director and Managing Partner, Goldmedia Group GmbH) will also be taking part.
